According to the Real Estate section of the Chicago Tribune dated March 9, 2008, a 9-story, 80-unit mixed-income residential project is planned for vacant land located at 1413-1427 N. Clybourn and 1414-1426 N. Larrabee. The Chicago Metropolitan Housing Development Corp. and its for-profit partner, Related Midwest, will build the project through Clybourn Larrabee LLC. Of the project’s 80 condos, nine will be sold affordably and eight will be sold to the Chicago Housing authority for lease to public housing tenants. One to three bedroom condos in the project will have 711 to 1782 square feet and are expected to be priced from $220,000 to $616,000 with parking spaces sold separately.
