Sheffield Real Estate Prices

The first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year shows longer market times and fewer closings as shown on the accompanying chart. The average selling price of a single-family home dropped drastically while the average selling price of a multi-unit property increased appreciably. But there are too few numbers and it is too early in the year to forecast year-end results. Total transactions for 2006 were 214, down significantly from 254 in 2005.

Latest FYI’s

A property in the 2000 block of Fremont that sold for $1,050,000 in April 2005 has been torn down. And a property on Dickens and Fremont, with no recent sale information, also has been torn down.
